HUREIG Comp

Our eight-week comp is designed to introduce participants to the fundamentals of real estate investment. Throughout the comp, members attend weekly lectures covering core real estate topics, participate in one-on-one coffee chats with board members, and work in teams to develop a final case study project.

The comp culminates in a final project that centers on evaluating a potential investment opportunity based on a given set of assumptions. Teams build a cash flow model to analyze the deal and then present their investment thesis to a panel of professional investors at the conclusion of the comp. This experience offers a unique opportunity to deepen your understanding of the commercial real estate industry, strengthen your financial modeling skills, and expand your professional network.

Upon completing the comp, members gain exclusive access to career and deal resources, financial models, and networking events. Members are also added to HUREIG’s alumni list, which provides direct access to industry professionals, mentorship opportunities, and exclusive events to support long-term career development. In addition, comp graduates are invited to apply to the HUREIG Investment Team, where they can apply their skills to real-world scenarios.
